Rev. R.B. Hassell, at the parsonage
of the Congregational Church, perfom-
ed the ceremony at high noon today
which united in marriage Miss Eliza-
beth E. Beals, of Ohio and Mr. George
W. Mumaw, who is connected with
the Everett Gas company, of this city.
The bride just arrived in the city this
morning in company with her brother,
Mr. Le Verne Beals, who will remain
for a few days in the city, after which
he will return to his home in Wash-
ington, D.C. Immediately after the
ceremony, Mr. and Mrs. Mumaw took
possession of their nicely furnished
little cottage at 2008 Rockefeller
Ave.
Obit - ELIZABETH (LIZZIE) MUMAW
Elizabeth (Lizzie) Mumaw, 80,formerly of 3407 Snohomish Ave., died in a local hospital Wednesday morning (Sep 2, 1959) after an extended illness. Mrs. Mumaw was born in Burton, Ohio, July 9, 1879 and had resided in Everett since 1905. (this is a typo; should be 1902) She was a member of First Congregational Church, the DAR, and Chapter, OES. Surviving are her husband, George W. Mumaw of Everett; two sons, Dean Mumaw of 3407 Snohomish Ave., and Ormond Mumaw of Mountlake Terrace; one brother. Carl Beales of Burton, Ohio, and three grandsons,Ted, William and Douglas Mumaw. Funeral services will be Saturday morning at 11 o'clock in the chapel of the Solie Funeral Home. The Rev. Emrys Thomas will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Casketbearers will be Tom Tucker, Jack Stickles, Merle Mumaw, Joe Stone, Howard Nicholson, and Guy Dickie. Those desiring may contribute to First Congregational Church building fund or the charity of their choice.
