The 1860 census lists Barbara and Lewis with a son, W. G. Mumaugh. This and the 1870 census are the only records located so far. It is likely that he was the father of Barbara's grandchildren, named in her obituary of 1928 (as Emma and David never married): Miss Mildred Mumaugh , Mrs. John Schwantes, and Mrs. Ralph Barnthouse, all of Winfield, Kansas. It appears that W . G./J. must have been deceased prior to his mother, since her obituary does not mention him as a survivor, only his apparent children.
A birth record seems to be his daughter:
Allen Co, OH, Record book 1867-1889 page 348 (2 entries):
1 Jun 1882 Gertrude Mumaugh b 12 Feb 1882 Lima, dau of Wm Mumaugh & Martha Wolford of Lima
1 Jun 1883 Gertrude Mumaugh b 12 Feb 1883 Lima, dau of W. J. Mumaugh & Mattie J. Wolford of L ima
Emma's obituary, in 1938, tells us the following about these relatives:
She is survived by a sister-in-law, Mrs. Martha Mumaugh; and three nieces, Mildred and Edna Mumaugh, and Mrs. Gertrude Swantis, all of Winfield, Kas.
This is assumed to be the family of W. G./W. J. who was listed in the 1860 and 1870 census. The birth record of Gertrude seems to verify that Martha was married to William Mumaugh, tying it all together.

The funeral of W.J. Mumaugh, who died of an lingering illness of over three years, was held at the Christian church this afternoon at three o'clock. The services were conducted by the pastor, Rev. Albert Nichols. Tuberculosis was the cause of his death, and he had tried in vain all means to break the grip of this disease, but to no avail. He died peacefully and he will be mourned by a wide circle of friends and acquaintances.
Mr. Mumaugh was born in Lima, Ohio, November 8, 1856, and died March 5, 1910, aged fifty-three years, three months and twenty-seven days.
He was marred to Martha J. Wolford, November 3, 1880, and to his union were born one son and three daughters. The son preceded the father to the spirit world, but his wife and daughters, survive him. He and his wife came to Kansas in 1884, and since have made their home here as respected citizens.
Mr. Mumaugh was a member of the I.O.O.F. and Modern Woodmen.
