Her Obituary reads:
"Mrs Anna R. Hann
Mrs. Anna R. Hann passed from this life at her home in Saluvia, Saturday, January 29, at 2:30 o'clock. Death was due to old age complications. She was the daughter of Jacob and Sarah (McCurdy) Mumma and was born on November 15, 1847 on the farm now owned by ---yl Sponsler in Licking Creek township. She was ninety years, __ months and 14 days at the time of her death. She was the youngest of eight children, all of whom preceded her in death.
She was united in marriage to Jacob M. Hann on July 5, 1870, in McConnellsburg by Rev. __ W. Pomeroy.
"Aunt Ann" as she was generally known was proud of her age and told people that came to her home about her ninetieth birthday, which she tried to enjoy, although her health was failing at that time. She was kind hearted and willing to do anything that she could for anyone. She will be sadly missed not only by her relatives but by her many friends and neighbors.
She was a member of the Green Hill Presbyterian church which she longed to attend when convenient. Surviving are her three children: Bert Hann, Willard, Ohio; Porter Hann, Williamsport, Pa; and Mrs. Sadie Deshong of Saluvia, with whom she made her home. Nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services were held on Monday, January 31, at 2:30 P.M. with short services at the home, and with further services at the Presbyterian church at Green Hill, with Dr. Rose of Mercersburg and Rev. Victor Hann, grandson of the deceased, of the M. E. church at Watsontown, Pa, officiating. She was laid to rest in the cemetery by the side of her husband who preceded her in death 45 years ago.
May the heavenly winds blow softly
__er a sweet but lonely spot
_or the love of her that lies beneath
Will never be forgot.
By her daughter, Mrs. Sadie Deshong"
