Jess P. Moomaw, 938 Nashau, Houston, brother of Bill Moomaw and Mrs. M. L. Kindle here, was killed in an automobile accident early Monday near Houston, relatives here were notified. They left for Houston, where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m., burial to be made there also.
Jess Moomaw, born in Arkansas, lived here a number of years before moving to Greenville, but had been in Houston the past 25 years. He was on his way to Beaumont at the time of the accident which occurred at Dayton.
Survivors include his wife, the former Miss Marie Boulware, Houston; one son, Richard Moomaw; a brother, H. H. Moomaw, Dallas, besides his brother and sister here.
