Local Woman's Mother Dies....
CHARLESTON - Mrs. June M. Swan, 71, of Mt. Morris, Ill. Died Wednesday in Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center. She was the mother of Mrs. David (Joyce) Maurer of Charleston.
The funeral is set for 10:30 a.m. Friday in the Trinity Lutheran Church at Mt. Morris, with burial in the Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday afternoon and evening at the funeral home.
She was born June 24, 1909 in Mt. Morris Township, Ogle County, Ill., the daughter of Edgar and Kathryn Thomas Mumma. She married Theodore R. Swan Sept. 5, 1931 in Grand Detour, Ill. He survives. Also surviving are another daughter, Mrs. Robert (Kathleen) Johnson of Oregon, Ill., and five grandchildren. [Charleston Daily Courier? April 2, 1981]
