Departed this life Dec. 17, 1897. Adam Moomaw, at the residence of his brother, Joel Moomaw. He was born in the state of Ohio, June 27, 1824, and was therefore 73 years, 5 months and 24 days of age. He leaves 3 children, all of whom live in California. He was a member of the Methodist church, and died in full faith of a glorious reasurection. The funeral was preached at Littleby Baptist church by Eld. A. E. Burch, from the 23d Psalm, after which the remaind were laid to rest in the Moore burying ground, one mile west of Praire View church.
