HOLMES-ANDERSON, Mildred, 93, passed away on Nov. 19, 2008. She was born Aug. 19, 1915 in Pittsburgh, PA. She was the owner of Mildred's Beauty Salon in Belleair Bluffs for 35 years. Mildred was one of the founding leaders of Belleair Bluff's incorporation as a city and was an avid supporter of various environmental organizations including the National Wildlife Foundation and the Sierra Club. She enjoyed traveling, relaxing days at the beach and deep-sea fishing. She is survived by a twin sister, Marion Mumaugh ; daughter, Jackie Garger; 5 grandchildren, Dave and Jon Garger, Alex Chew, Andria Sartor, and Christopher Jones; 4 great- grandchildren, Katelyn Garger, Sam Garger, Austin Chew, and Brent Morehouse; 2 nephews, Dick and John Mumaugh ; 3 nieces, Cheryl Salyards, and Cathy and Linay Mumaugh ; daughter-in-law, Priscilla Chew and her partner William Griffin; granddaughters-in-law, Sari and Mona Garger; grandson-in-law, Wayne Sartor and her many friends from Belleair Bluffs and the Pinecrest Retirement Community. Memorial services will be held at Sylvan Abby Cemetery, 2360 Sunset Point Road, Clearwater, FL on Saturday, Dec. 13 @ 12 pm.
