NEW LONDON -- Lucille M. Kline, 80, died Sunday, Aug. 3, 2008.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2008, at Denbow-Primm-Kemery Funeral Home. Burial will be in Ashland County Memorial Park. Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. today, Aug. 5, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Kline worked as a cook and waitress at the Ridge Restraunt and Truck Stop for many years. Later, she was a cook for Ruggles-Troy School, and following her retirement from the school system, she was a van driver for Bethel Baptist Church.
Mrs. Kline was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, where she sang in the Choir, taught Sunday scool and Bible School and served on the Bereavment meal committee.
On May 13, 1946, she married Curtiss E. (Dean) Kline, who preceded her in death Nov. 20, 2005. She is survived by seven sons and one daughter, Bill (Sharon) Kline of Ashland, Sam (Ann) Kline of Savannah, James C. Kline of Ashland, Terry L. Kline of New London, Tim (Dorine) Kline of Nova, Garry (Lorell) Kline of Ashland, Kenny (Linda) Kline of New London, and Karie (Jeff) Reed of Avon Lake; 19grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; granddaughter, Tamara Zimmerman, on Feb. 3, 2005; thre sisters, Elnora Smalley, Geneva Ford and Marjorie Watson; and two brothersm Herbert and Gaylord Mumaw.
