WELTON GRUBBS
WINCHESTER, VA., April 29 -
Welton (Mickey) Grubbs, 39, produce manager at the local Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company store, died Sunday at a Winchester hospital after a short illness. He had been employed by the firm for the past 17 years. Survivors are his wife, the former Geneva Mumaw, of Mt. Jackson; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry C. Grubbs of Winchester; three brothers, Clyde, Harry and Floyd Grubbs, all of Winchester; three sisters, Mrs. Lela Lonas, of Winchester; Mrs B. S. Clatterbaugh of Staunton, and Mrs. Edgar Barrett, of Daytona Beach, Fla. Funeral rites were held Tuesday with interment in Mt. Hebron Cemetery.
