Dena L. Mumaw, 69. of Rt.1, Mt. Jackson, Va. died Friday evening in Shenandoah County Memorial Hospital.
A funeral was held a 2 p.m. Monday at the Valley Baptist Church at Edinburg, Va., with the Rev. James Bailey officiating. Burial was in the Hudson Cross Roads Cemetery.
Mrs. Mumaw was born Sept. 9, 1914 at Mathias, daughter of the late Benjamin and Sarah Whetzel Wilkins. She was a member of the Valley Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Alston P. Mumaw; four sons, Wayne Foltz of Singers Glen, Va.; Rudolph Foltz of North Little Rock, Ark; Leonard Foltz of Bangor, Maine and John Foltz of Woodstock, Va.; two daughters, June Thompson of Edinburg, Va.; and Josie Brightman of Sykesville, Mo.; four sisters, Nola Mongold of Mathias; Violet Hawse and Delsie Williams of Timberville, Va., and Vada Green of Edinburg, Va.; eight brothers, Ennard Wilkins of Berryville Va.; David Wilkins of Mathias; Dayton Wilkins of Broadway, Va.; Charles Wilkins of Bergton, Va.; Rudolph Wilkins of Broadway, Va.; Elmer Wilkins of Toms Brook, Va.; Austin Wilkins of Mt. Jackson, Va., and Virgil Wilkins of Winchester, Va.; 19 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
