David Stanley Walker, 82, of Kearneysville, WV passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Care Haven Center in Martinsburg.
Born December 10, 1929 in Cumberland, MD he was the son of the late Norman Walker, Sr. and Dora Mathias Walker Wade.
He was a 20 year veteran of the US Navy. He also had served 20 years as a Game Warden with the WV Natural Resources and served in Jefferson County from 1971?1988.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Barbara Ann Mumaw Walker; one daughter, Laura McDonald and husband, Steven of Frederick, MD; four other children; four grandchildren, Jillian, Dustin, Dylan, and Bailey; five other grandchildren; and two sisters, Peg Brill of Winchester, VA and Judy Farmer of Bowie, MD.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Norman Walker, Jr., James, Bill, and Boyd Walker; and one sister, Alma Dogantzis.
Services and interment will be private. Arrangements by Brown Funeral Home.
