Mrs. Lillian Moomaw Murphy, age 77, of Florence, died Monday, July 24, 2006, at ECM Hospital after an extended illness.
Mrs. Murphy was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Dee and Beulah Reid Moomaw, three brothers and four sisters.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald Eugene Murphy, of Florence, Ala.; one son, Joel Lee Murphy and wife, Malinda; one brother, Fielder Moomaw; one sister, Pearl Holland; a special niece, Melva Shepherd and her son, Keith, all of Florence, Ala.; three grandchildren, Justin Lee, Eric Joel and Hannah Nicole Murphy.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 27, 2006, from 9:30-11 a.m. A graveside service will follow in Greenview Memorial Park. Stan Dean will be officiating at the service.
Pallbearers will include Justin Murphy, Eric Murphy, Derrick Taylor, Mark Grisham, Derryl Murphy and Gerry Murphy.
