From a full page article published in the Sunday Patriot-News Bi-Centennial supplement of Harrisburg, his descendants (Robert Mann Mumma, II & III) claim ---
"Born Aug 12, 1783 in Swatara Twp., Dauphin Co and died there on May 30, 1855. He was a farmer, miller and distiller.
Christian's Will provided additional information about his daughter, Leah Mumma who married Michael Cassel. She is buried in the cemetery on the farm.
His Will also identified Mary Mumma who married Joseph Hoffer
