LARRY ROGER SHOWALTER
Originally from Orkney Springs, VA passed away peacefully on Friday morning, March 3, 2017, at his home surrounded by his family.
Larry was born in Orkney Spring, VA on March 22, 1939. He was the son of the late Frank Lee Showalter and Reba Moomaw.
Larry is survived by his wife, Babara Showalter; daughter and son-in-law, Kelley and Gene Griffith; and grandchildren, William and Riley Griffith.
Larry had a successful career working for the Central Intelligence Agency. He loved to travel the world, golf, hunt, fish, and root for the Green Bay Packers.
He will forever be in our thoughts and prayers. Plans for a local memorial are pending. A memorial service at Prince of Peace Church in Orkney Springs, VA will be held Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 11 a.m.
