Mrs. Moomaw was born on December 29, 1936, in Jerome, VA, daughter of the late William Aldine and Ethel May Miller Funkhouser.
She was a lifelong member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Jerome, Virginia before becoming a member of the Cathedral Shrine of the Transfiguration at Shrine Mont.

She worked at Shrine Mont for many years and looked forward to catching up with her friends who returned each year.
