Diane Lynn Pitchford, 73, born November 22, 1942 in Lake Odessa, MI, passed away at home on September 5, 2016. Diane was a longtime area caregiver; worked at her parents, Doty's Caf? in Lake Odessa, and helped the North Eagle Cemetery Society. She is survived by her three daughters: Katrina (Greg) Miller, Lori and Susan Pitchford, two sons Leon (Jeri Tabor) Pitchford Jr. and Jon (Wendi) Pitchford; eight grandchildren: Alex, Tye, Jacie, Jaylee, Brett, Mykaila, Maggie and Levi; two great grandchildren Tucker and Breelynn and one on the way, Aubrey; also her two sisters Maureen (Dean) Cross, Shirley (Mike) Brighton Of Lake Odessa. She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years Leon Pitchford, parents, Myrl and Dorothy May (Mumaw) Doty, and three brothers.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, October 22, 2016, from 5-7 p.m. at Eagle Park Fairgrounds Reception Hall, 14331 S. Grange Road, Eagle, MI 48822. For those wishing, memorial contributions may be made to Great Lakes Caring Hospice, 3100 West Road #110, East Lansing, MI 48823.
