WILLARD, Oct. 21---Mrs. Mary E. Moomaw, 74, wife of J. L. Moomaw, died Sunday night in Mt. Jackson, Va., while visiting a niece, Mrs. George Ryan. She had been in ill health two years and suffered a stroke Sunday. She had been a resident of Willard since 1912, residing at 316 N. Main-st.
Surviving are her husband, three sons, Luther, Delmar and Lester; four daughters, Mrs. Lizzie Ryman, Mrs. Anna Duffy, Mrs. Irva McFadden and Mrs. Retta Langhurst; 23 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, all of Willard and one brother, Noah Miller, Jerome, Va.
The body will arrive Wednesday morning and will be taken to the Secor Funeral Home where friends may call. Services are to be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Trinity Lutheran Church, the Rev. G. C. Heffelfinger, officiating. Burial is to be in the Willard Cemetery.
