DOVER, Del. ? Jane Isabel Spencer, 87, of Dover, died Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2009, at Capitol Nursing Home in Dover.
Born Dec. 25, 1921, in Monroe, Md., she was the daughter of the late Clyde Shifter and Gussie Mumma Shifter.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Lamar Weaver, in 1943, and her second husband, Paul Patrick Spencer, in 1993.
She was employed for 25 years by Playtex as an inspector of products.
She is survived by two daughters, Jane Merovitz and Pat Brown, both of Dover; three sons, Charles T. Weaver of Nashville, Tenn., and Pat Weaver and Paul Spencer, both of Dover; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be today at 1 p.m. at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, Boonsboro.
Local arrangements are by Torbert Funeral Chapel, Dover.
