Records briefly reviewed by Pamela Mumma at the National Archives. Extracted the following:
Indexed Christian Mummau/Christian Mumman. He was a musician for Co. A, Reg. 11, Kansas Volunteers. He was a drummer.
His mother, Elizabeth Mummau, applied for pension since this young boy died in service. She was a resident of Leavenworth City, Leavenworth County, Kansas at that time of application. Her husband Christian died September 9, 1860 in Denver City, Territory of Colorado. (Actually this was, at this time , the Territory of Kansas, Arapahoe County, Denver)
Christian signed on 14 August 1862 at Ft. Leavenworth, for the 11th Reg. of Kansas Volunteers, to serve 3 years, under Capt. Lyman Scott. He was 15 years old, born in Fayette, State of Pennsylvania. He was 5 ft 3 1/2 inches, and had fair complexion, blue eyes, light hair. Indicates he was a laborer. He died January 12, 1863 in a Fayettesville, Arkansas hospital of pneumonia contracted on the march - Camp Bobcock, Arkansas, a 45 mile march, to Camp Hill, Arkansas.
In his file, his mother is noted to be Elizabeth Shank. She married Christian (senior) Mummau on 12 September 1839 by Dr. Young a Christian minister. In the pension request she notes that she has three children. The reference makes note of a family bible.
Harriet 20 May 1843
Zeno born 9 Aug 1846
Justin 19 Oct 1851
It is noted that Elizabeth died August 13, 1901 and then another place September 24, 1901

Doing an analysis on the 1860 census page, it appears that the names were displaced one line and J.H. Farwell in incorrectly listed. Sorting the information presents a more likely indication of the true census.
1860 United States Federal Census > Kansas Territory > Arapahoe > Denver, page 270, August 26,
-------------------------------------------------------
Muma, Christi'n , male, 42 mining Penn
Eliza, 39, female, Penn
Harriet,17 female Penn (Catherine has probably died)
CW, 13 male Penn (Christian)
Jas Muma 8 male Illinois (Probably Justin & Illinois is probably in error)
I don't have a clue where Zeno is, probably was missed with all of the other screwups. Maybe Christian Sr. was killed in a mining accident later in 1860.
Census 1870, KS, Allen Co., Cottage Grove Twp., Humbolt P.O.
Zeno Mummau is living with the B. F. Walter family as a farm laborer, age 25
1880 Census, KS, Leavenworth Co., Leavenworth City 2nd Ward, p., 308
[Name is indexed in Ancestry as "Elizabeth Mumman"]
Mummau, Elizabeth, 58, midwife, b. PA
West, Jasper, 47, laborer, b. Eng/Eng/Eng
" , Martha, 48, wife, keeping house, b. Eng/Eng/Eng
" , Abbie, 15, b. KS
I can't find any of the children in the 1880 census. Zeno might be away going to a medical school and possibly Justine is dead.
Census 1900 > Kansas > Leavenworth > Leavenworth Ward 6 > District 100
[name is indexed in Ancestry as "Elizabeth Murnan"]
Mumau, Elizabeth, head, Feb 1821, 79, 8 children, 2 living, widow, b. PA/PA/PA
It is hard to determine whether Harriet or Justine was the other child living living in 1900 as suggested by the 1900 census for Elizabeth. We know Zeno was still living. Harriet, if she is alive, has probably remarried by then. Since I can't find any indication of Justine or Justice, I presume he is dead.
