Leckrone, Quincy (CB), 1863-1961, pastor, teacher. Born April 11 near Thornville, OH, Quincy Leckrone was the son of Benjamin F. and Elizabeth Boyer Leckrone. Leckrone attended *Mt. Morris College and Ohio Central College (MA, 1893). He taught in public and private schools and was president of *Smithville Collegiate Institute, 1898-99. He married Edith Fickel in 1896; they had two sons, Howard and Walter. Elected a minister at the Jonathan Creek, OH, congregation in 1891, Leckrone was pastor of congregations in Ohio and Pennsylvania. He was active in the Chautauqua Movement and in the *Interchurch World Movement. He wrote two books on doctrine and ordinances. Leckrone died Feb. 18, 1961. KWH
