Notes:
The fact that Frank Mumma married Ellen George was recorded in Samuel Hertzler Mumma's notebook on page 48. He stated the following.
"7th GENERATION Family No., 210. FRANK H. MUMMA was married to Ella George. They lived in Phila. and are buried there. They had no children."
There were some errors in Samuel's listing, namely Frank's middle initial was "G", and neither he nor Ellen are buried in Philadelphia.

Obituary
Ellen J., wife of Frank G. Mumma, died on Saturday in Philadelphia aged about 28 years. She was a daughter of the late Jonas and Caroline George of Germansville. She is survived by one sister and one brother, Mrs. Rev. J. N. Bachman, Lynnport and A. J. George, of No 516 Union Street, this city. Funeral will take place on Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock from the house of P. H. Oswald, New Tripoli. Burial at Lowhill Church. Rev. N. W. Helffrich officiating.

Since Sarah's death date is not recorded, it is unclear where she is buried. Also it is not clear why Frank is buried in the Carpenter Church Cemetery instead of in Philadelphia where he was probably living or in Cumberland County where he was born.
