Bert Raymond Mumma, passed away on April 19, 2015 at NHC. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday April 22, 2015 at 11 am at the Carteret Street United Methodist Church. Bert was born in Cambridge Ohio to the late Jane Kimble and William Oliver Mumma. He founded Beaufort Molded Products. Bert was a past Commodore of the Beaufort Yacht and Sailing Club and was an active member of Carteret Street United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Sue Ellen McConnell Mumma. A son Bert "Butch" R. Mumma, Jr. (Beaufort SC) and his wife Stellena Anderson Mumma and grandchildren Blair Kimble Mumma and Caroline Ross Mumma. A daughter Diane "De-De" Mumma Katchen (Jacksonville FL) and grandchildren Mark "Kerry" Katchen and Krista McConnell Katchen. He is also survived by his brother Gene Kimble Mumma (Largo Fl) and Nelva Mumma Maslowski (Cambridge OH). He is pre-deceased by his brothers Charles and James Mumma. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Carteret Street United Methodist Church West Street Building Fund, 408 Carteret Street, Beaufort SC 29902. Anderson Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.
