He was born Dec. 24, 1932, to Willard and Clara Mumma of Troy, Ohio.
In his youth, Will was the first to achieve the rank of Eagle Scout in Miami County. He subsequently graduated from Troy High School (Class of '51) and Miami University (Class of '55). Upon graduation, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps and retired as a Lt. Col. from the Air Force Reserves. He retired from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in 1997 after a distinguished 38 year career in the Contracting Directorate culminating with the Outstanding Civilian Career Service Award.
Above all, Will was a devoted and proud family man. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Arthur "Mutt" (Erma), Ralph (Betty), and Carl; and one sister, Thelma Elkins.

"Paw Paw" was the best husband, father and grandfather ever and will be dearly missed. His uncanny wit and sense of humor will always be cherished.
Will unselfishly donated his remains to the Boonshoft School of Medicine at Wright State University for educational purposes.
To celebrate the life of our loved one, a memorial service will be conducted on Friday, May 12, at 2 p.m. in the Troy Baptist Temple, 691 E.
