19 Dec., 1877 Record Book 40, pg. 44 Julette Dickey vs William Mumma for bastardy, Julette
Dickey an unmarried woman of Urbana Township pregnant with child of William Mumma; he had
promised to marry her; pleaded guilty and must support child.
Nov. 14, 1877 in minute book 35, page 587, Julette Dickey vs William Mumma, case settled and dismissed.
William married Sarah Ellen "Sallie" on Glenn April 25th 1878 in Champaign County.
William Mumma died April 21, 1887 in Champaign County. (newspaper date April 21, 1887 says he died at age 40 in the morning on Sciota St. wife survives) Mrs. Mumma married Louis D. Johnson May 4, 1887.
