He was born June 3, 1934 in Quarryville, Pennsylvania to Alvin and Sarah (Brandt) Wenger who preceded him in death. He is survived by wife of 53 years: Lois (Mumma) Wenger; 2 brothers: Arthur (Arlene) Wenger ? Lancaster, Pennsylvania; John (Laurie) Wenger ? Colorado Springs, Colorado; 1 sister: Mary (Greg) Hill ? Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania; 5 children: Jill (Jeff) Hardenbrook ? Dayton, Ohio, Dean (Jerianne) Wenger ? Petersburg, Pennsylvania, Kara (Kevin) Yaussy ? Oak Park, Illinois, Gina Wenger ? Mankato, Minnesota, Marlo (Wenger) Mapps ? Middletown, Ohio; 8 grandchildren.
A Celebration Memorial Service of Harold's life will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. at the Trenton Mennonite Church, 2 East Main St., Trenton, Ohio. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in the Trenton Mennonite Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Trenton Mennonite Church and Scholarship Fund at Camp Blue Diamond, P. O. Box 240, Petersburg, Pennsylvania 16669. Arrangements by Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown.
