GRACE I. MUMMA, 90, schoolteacher
Grace I. Mumma, 90, of Moravian Manor, Lititz. formerly of West Main Street, Mount Joy, died of natural causes Tuesday at the home.
She taught kindergarten at Donegal. Maytown, Seiler, Mount Joy, Marietta, Rothsville and Manheim elementary schools, retiring in 1974.
A member of the Mount Joy Church of God, she was a former Sunday sehool teacher and head of the primary department. She was also a member of the State Education Association of Retirees.
A 1929 graduate of the former Manheim High School, she graduated from West Chester State Teachers College in 1931.
Born in Manheim Borough, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Florence Whitmyer Fass.
Her husband. Mark H. Mumma, died in 1970.
Surviving are two sons, James M., married to Joanne Boland Mumma of West Friendship, Md., and Michael H., married to Marjorie McNaughton Mumma of New Holland; a daughter, Jane M., married to Donald R. Swartz of Landisville; seven grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters.
