Edna Marie (Alcorn) Wampler

WAMPLER, Edna Marie (Alcorn) age 81 of Dayton, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2008. Edna was born April 11, 1927 in Ravenna, KY, wife of the late Ralph M. Wampler and daughter of the late Archie and Leota (Gray) Alcorn. She was a loving, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and friend. Edna will be sadly missed by all who knew her and loved her. Mrs. Wampler is survived by her children, Ralph M. "Rue" (Karen) Wampler, Jr. and Kimberly Sue Wampler; grandchildren, Tiffany Marie Reece, Steven, Sean and Kyle Wampler; great-granddog, Kina; "other daughter", Linda Taylor; siblings, Jenny (Homer) Norvell, Stanley (Norma) Alcorn, Ray Alcorn and Sheila Walker; nephews, Merrill Norvell, Kimber Zelik and many other beloved nieces, nephews, friends and family members. She was preceded in death by her sister, Ruby Zelik and sister in-law, Connie Alcorn. A Funeral Service will be held 10 AM Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at Baker-Hazel & Snider Funeral Home & Crematory, 5555 Philadelphia Dr. at N. Main St., Dayton. Interment immediately following in Shiloh Park Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 5-7 PM Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be donated to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420, in Edna's memory.
