"Held For Court"
Dr. William E. Perry of Halltown and Mrs. Harry Roackenbaugh of Hareprs Ferry were given a hearing before JusticeCharles H. Briggs at Harpers Ferry, and held for the grand jury on the charge of causing the death of Miss Alma Mumma, of Hagerstown. Bail for Dr. Perry was fixed at $2,000 and for Mrs. Rockenbaugh at $1,000 . Both will be furnished.
Dr. Perry is charged with performing a criminal operation. Stewart Hoffman, a railroad man of Hagerstown and for whom they interested themselves, will not likely be prosecuted, having turned states evidence.
