Michael William Mumma, 34, formerly of Noble, died Wednesday, April 5, at Saint Frances Hospital in Tulsa. Services will be 11 a.m. today at Slaughterville Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard Kerr officiating. Burial will be at Noble IOOF Cemetery under the direction of McMahans Funeral Home. Mr. Mumma was born Dec. 11, 1971, the first child of Michael Charles and Lova June (Robison) Mumma in Oklahoma City. He attended school and graduated from Noble High School in 1990. He was last employed with a boat manufacturer in Tulsa, before he became medically retired due to his heart condition. Mr. Mumma was of the Baptist faith and was a Nascar fan, a Dallas Cowboys fan and also a Kansas City Royals fan. Family members said they were told at his birth that he would only live days with heart failure, but through his faith and his strong will he survived 34 wonderful years. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents and his paternal grandfather. Survivors include his parents Michael Charles and Lova Mumma of Noble; his brother Randy Mumma of Owasso; his paternal grandmother Billie Mumma of Tulsa; his girlfriend Trish Roderique of Tulsa; and many other relatives and friends. Bearers will be Logan Robison, Charlie Roderique, Mike Bowen, Nic Rodolph, Guy Rodolph and Jeromey Rodolph.
