Annamae Yake, 71, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2013 with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Paul S. Yake, Jr., who died in 2004. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Brenda, (Jerry) Lefever of Lancaster and Linda L. Banzhof, companion of Tim Christ of Millersville. Her four grandsons, Ryan (Yessenia) Lefever, Derek, Lefever, Jared Banzhof and Brandon Christ and great grandsons RJ and Mason Lefever will miss her daily presence
Annamae worked at the Lancaster General Hospital and later for the John Herr's Market. She was a member of the Riverside Camping Association and the AMVETS, Post #19, both of Lancaster. She enjoyed bowling and spending time with her daughters and grandchildren on special trips and
to the beach and boating.
Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Alvin and Lucy Mae Snyder Mumma. In addition to her immediate family, she is survived by four brothers Alvin (Darlene) Mumma, Richard, Arthur, and Melvin Mumma and a sister Betty (Paul) Coble. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Shirley Haldeman, Roseanne Booth, and Pauline Bleacher.
A Funeral Service honoring Annamae's life will be held at the Sheetz Funeral Home, Inc., 16 East Main Street, Mount Joy PA, on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 11 am. Annamae's family will receive friends from 9 to 11 am. Interment will be private in Millersville Mennonite Cemetery.
