Frank R. Haldeman Sr., 53, of 58 Gibney Road, died Monday at Community Hospital of Lancaster after a long illness. He was the husband of Shirley Mumma Haldeman. They were married 31 years in April. He was employed as a carpet installer with Certified Carpets of Lancaster. Formerly, he worked at Hoober's Feed Mill, Gordonville. Born in Salisbury Township, he was a son of Mary Ann Charles Haldeman of Lancaster and the late Harry Haldeman Sr. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by two sons, Frank R. Jr. of Mount Joy, and Donald P. of Lancaster; a daughter, Sherri L., Lancaster; seven grandchildren; four brothers, Levi and Donald, both of Gap, Paul of Quarryville and Harry Jr. of Leola; and two sisters, Marylou of Denver and Nancy, wife of Buz Currier of Texas.
