J. Arthur Mumma, 86, of 120 Rider Ave, Lancaster, Pa. Formerly of Manheim, Pa died Sunday evening, May 15, 2005 at the Lebanon VA.
Born in Mt. Joy, he was the son of the late Levi W. and Leah O. Hawbaker Mumma. He had worked for 40 years for the U.S. Government as an aircraft mechanic. After retirement, he worked as a car salesman for various car dealerships. He had served in the U.S. Army during W.W.II.
He is survived by a daughter , Gail R. Reis, of Fayetteville; 2 grandsons; a great granddaughter; a brother, Adin H., husband of Jeanne of Mt. Joy; and a sister, Ruth E., wife of Mark Layman of Newport News, VA.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral on Friday, May 20, 2005 at 10:00AM from the Mt. Pleasant Brethren in Christ Church, 1756 Mt. Pleasant Rd., Mt. Joy, Pa. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 9 until 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances may be made to Lebanon VA Medical Center, Lebanon, Pa. Arrangements Entrusted to the Andrew T.
