Notes:
Eloise Virginia Kinnaman, the fifth child and third daughter of Walt and Lou, was born 28 November 1908 near Wheatland, Indiana. She graduated high school in Wheatland in 1926, and was a member of the girls' basketball team which won the Knox County championship.
After high school, with the help of Dr. Wadsworth of Washington, Indiana, Eloise enrolled in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Washington, D.C. as a nurse trainee, and graduated as a Registered Nurse. While in Washington, D.C, she met and married James Eldridge who was stationed there with the Marine Corps.
Eloise and James had three children, Millicent Pitt, Elaine Thayer, and James,
The marriage to James ended in divorce and Eloise returned home to her parents in Wheatland with her children. She found work as a company nurse in Vincennes, and retired about 1970. She lives in Wheatland, Indiana (as of 1996).
