John F. Browning born 1841 Illinois, married on 23 Feb 1871 in Jasper Co. Iowa, Priscilla Arabella Rumbaugh, the daughter of George W. Rumbaugh b. 27 Feb 1827 Greene Co OH and Carracy Mumaugh b. 18 Apr 1824 in Fairfield Co. OH. John F. Browning was the son of Joshua Browning b. 1804 KY d. 14 Dec 1851 Henry Co. IL and Juliann May b. 1805. John F. Browning died an invalid in a soldier's home on March 23, 1914. He and Priscilla Arabella 'Belle' Browning had a son Charles P. Browning b. 1871 Iowa.
After the death of her husband in 1914 in California, Priscilla Arabella 'Belle' (Rumbaugh) Browning remarried on 22 Oct 1918 in Kern Co. CA a widower, William Jonas Heath, the son of Callaway Green Heath and Milly Ann Holloway.( It was not a first marriage for William Jonas Heath.) Her husband William Jonas Heath died in an explosion at his work on July 12, 1920 and his widow Priscilla Arabella 'Belle' Heath went to live with her son Charles P. Browning in Downey, California. I believe she died as Pricilla A Heath on 6 Aug 1931 in Los Angeles CA.
