Hazel Wakefield, 84, retired laborer
Hazel B. Wakefield, 84, of 132 S. Sixth St., Columbia, Pa., died of natural causes Sunday at Lancaster General Hospital. A retired laborer for Bayliss and Tioga Silk Mill in York, Pa., she was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Columbia, Pa.
Born in East Donegal Township, she was the daughter of the late Engle and Bessie Stokes Mumma. Her husband, Luther K. Wakefield, died in 1984. Surviving is a son, Kenneth L., at home.
