MRS. E. M. MUMMA
Mrs. Ersulla May Mumma died suddenly of a heart attack at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Victor E. Mumma in Flat River, Saturday morning, Sept. 28, 1946. She had suffered from a heart ailment for many years.
Mrs. Mumma, who resided with her son and daughter-in-law, had just returned from a visit with other relatives at Maryville, Mo. Mr. and Mrs. Victor Mumma and son, Philip Lance, have been living temporarily with her sister, Mrs. R. M. Fowler and family until they can find a home.
Mrs. Mumma was born in Harrison County, Mo., August 7, 1885, a daughter of the late William Rush Evans and Mrs. Elizabeth Beeks Evans, now of Maryville, Mo. At the time of her death she was 61 years 1 month 21 days of age. A daughter, Pauline preceded her in death.
She leaves to mourn her passing, her son, Victor, a grandson, Philip Lance Mumma, her mother and two sisters, Nellie (Mrs. E. T.) Dale and Nina (Mrs. F. M.) Burns of Savannah, Mo.
Her death certificate lists she and Thomas as being divorced.
