John W Mumma Sr., 83, of Halifax, died Monday in Polyclinic Medical Center. Retired from Bethlehem Steel, Steelton, and from the state, a former deputy game protector; and member of Mount Laurel Church of God, Powells Valley Fire Co., and West Hanover Fire Co. Widower of Dorothy Zimmerman Mumma and Mary Ellen Koons Mumma. Surviving are a son, John W Jr., of Duncannon; a brother, Earl B of Long Island, NY; a sister, Viola L Leonard of Anville; 2 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services at 1 p.m. Friday in Smith Funeral Home, Duncannon. Burial in Longs Cemetery, Halifax. Viewing will be from noon to 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
