Leitha Eber
Mrs. Leitha EBER, 84, 1108 Madison street, died at 1:50 p.m. Monday in the Prairie View rest home in Warsaw where she had een a patient four days. She had been ill three months.
She was born Oct. 22, 1883, in Wabash county, the daughter of Isaac and Rosalie BRADY PLATT. Her marriage was Dec. 12, 1900, in Akron, to Clarence EBER, who died Oct. 24, 1947.
Mrs. Eber had lived most of her life in Fulton county. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist church, the Patriotic club and the Victoria Readig circle.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Oren (Glee) MATHIAS, Rochester; Mrs. Leonard (Treva) STEININGER, Colon, Mich.; and Mrs. Ray (Juanita) WALLACE, Westville; one son, Burl EBER, R.R. 4, Rochester; six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. One brother preceded in death.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Trinity United Methodist church with the Revs. Roy GARNER and William SIMPSON officiating. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery here. Friends may call at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Oren MATHIAS, 1017 Madison street, after 7 p.m. today until 11 a.m. Thursday and at the church one hour before services. Arrangements are in charge of the Foster & Good funeral home.
