According to a Kalamazoo Gazzette obituary, Dawn A. Rayman passed away Tuesday, January 25, 1983. Mrs. Rayman was born February 11, 1910, in Lyons, Ohio. She had operated an adult foster care home for 13 years. Surviving are one daughter, Linda, of Kalamazoo; 3 sons, Jimmy of Kalamazoo, Gerald of Otsego and Lloyd of Plainwell; a niece and nephew, raised by her, include Mrs. Russell (Jeanette) Shaff of Kalamazoo and Donald Stephenson of Otsego; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one brother, Allen Stephenson of Adrian. Friends may call at the W inkel Funeral Home, Otsego, beginning at 7 p.m. this evening, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Reverend Emerson Minor officiating. Interment in Liberty Street Cemeter y.
