MUMMA---On 11th July, at 20 minutes before five o'clock A. M., ELLA C., aged 19 years and 6 months, second and only daughter of J. T. and S. E. Mumma.
Sickness and pain with patience she bore,
Physicians tried, but in vain;
But Christ, the Chief, came to her relief,
And eased her of her pain.
She was so kind and gentle,
How can we give her up?
How can we still live on and drink
From such a bitter cup?
Farewell, farewell, our sister, dear,
Life is sad without thee here;
Oh! may we meet in Heaven above,
Where all is peace, and joy and love.

The relatives and friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend her funeral, from her late residence, Bowley's avenue, Baltimore county, Wednesday afternoon, July 13, at three o'clock.
