Jacob's death was recorded in a bible which he received from the Boonstown Auxiliary Bible Society on August 50, 1828 (printed in 1819). The bible was later presented to S.W. Mumma by his mother, Susan Mumma, on 7 April 1889 as a rememberance of her and his grandfather. Bible is in the possession of Susan Ann Swift in Forreston, IL (Dec 31, 2014)
