OBITUARY
Funeral services for Ocie Elsa NICHOLS, 77-year-old Perryton resident, were held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 3, in Boxwell Brothers chapel, with Arthur L. Golden officiating.
Mrs. NICHOLS, who died at 3:45 p.m. Tuesday in Beaver Hospital, was born November 11, 1882, in Williamstown, Missouri. She came in Beaver county in 1907 and moved to Perryton in 1926.
Interment was in Ochiltree cemetery under the direction of Boxwell Brothers.
Pallbearers were Leon MORRIS, John APPLE, Phil NEILSON, John NEILSON, Guy ALLEN and Billy NICHOLS.
Survivors include her husband, R. C. NICHOLS of Perryton; five daughters, Mrs. R. H. (Helen) TURNER of Montrose, California, Mrs. T. M. (Gladys) BROOKS of Pampa, Mrs. Lillian NEILSON of Stinnett, Ruth NICHOLS of Amarillo, and Mrs. John (Letha) BRANUM of Farmington, New Mexico; two sons, Emmett NICHOLS of Liberal, and William R. NICHOLS of Tulsa; two sisters, Mrs. Bertie SANGER of Canton, Missouri, and Mrs. Susie POOL of Kenosha, Wisconsin; a brother, Earl MUMMA of Quincy, Illinois; 12 grandchildren and5 great grandchildren
