Clarabelle Sue Mumaw
ZANESVILLE: Clarabelle Sue Mumaw, 92 of Zanesville died Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Genesis Morrison House Hospice in Zanesville.
She was born Monday, July 5, 1920 in Zanesville, the daughter of William Kaiser and Lettice Kaiser. She was married on Thursday, August 12, 1937 to Woodrow W Mumaw who preceded her in death on May 1, 2003. Mrs. Mumaw was a member of the Shelter House in Duncan Falls. She was a housewife and an avid BINGO player. She enjoyed volunteering for the Senior Center in Zanesville.
She is survived by two sons, Terry Mumaw and wife Bonnie and Rick Mumaw all of Zanesville; Two daughters, Dianne Mann and Husband Max and Judy Lane all of Kansas City; two daughters in law, Ellie Mumaw of Zanesville and Debbie Yinger of Caldwell, 20 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and one step grandchild; three sisters, Barb Gee, Nancy Lundfelt and JoAnn Kaiser; several nieces and nephews and many friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by three son Tommy, Billy and Larry Mumaw; one grandson Larry Mumaw, Jr.; two sisters, Jean Kaiser and Marguerite Stoneking; two brothers, Joe and Bill Kaiser.
Friends may call Monday, April 8, 2013 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home, 935 Forest Ave. Zanesville. A Funeral Service will be 1:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Joe Rowland officiating. Burial will conclude in the Zanesville Memorial Park Zanesville. The family would like to give a special "thank you" to Marsha, Cheryl and the Genesis Hospice Staff.
