  Data researcher is Sandy Saville. E-mail sandysaville@yahoo.com NOTE: It is interesting that Martha Davis appears in the 1870 & 1880 census with William and Elizabeth Shilling as their neice. Likewise, Martha appears in the same census as the child of William Harrison Davis. Interesting that she is enumerated as living in both households. From the 1900 census, we learn that Elizabeth never had children. Later, this Martha marries a Stockdale and they have 4 children, but Martha dies about 1899. Later, one of her sons, Earnest, lives with his great aunt and helps her farm when William Shilling dies.
