"James S. "Jim" Mumma, 60, of Hagerstown, died Friday, Feb. 6, 2004, at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Towson, [Baltimore Co.] Md. Born April 6, 1943, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late William S. and Julia E. Dunn Mumma. He attended Hagerstown schools. He was a security guard for Securitas Security for 23 years. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Teresa Ann Nave Mumma; five sons, William R. Mumma and James W. Mumma, both of Hagerstown, Daniel L. Mumma of Pennsylvania, Kenneth S. Mumma of Ohio, and Kevin Mumma of West Virginia; one sister, Olive I. Faulders of Boonsboro; two brothers, Daniel L. Mumma of Colorado, and Larry G. Mumma of Hagerstown; and 12 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister, Rosalie M. Embly. Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Gerald N. Minnich Funeral Home, 305 N. Potomac St., Hagerstown. The Rev. Leon R. Yoder will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home."
