RALPH MUMMAUGH, 75, died at 8 p.m. Dec 6, 1993 at Lima Memorial hospital.
He was born May 15, 1918, in Rossburg, to Raymond and Lovie Cox Mumaw.
On Oct. 4, 1944, he married Roberta Marguerite Frey, who proceded him in death.
Mr. Mummaugh was assistant operator at the Sewage Treatment Plant, city of Lima.
He was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church, Amerian Legion Post 96, and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1275, all of Lima.
He had served on the advisory board of Lima Rainbow Girls and had received his Grand Cross of Colors. He was also a member of the Fort Amanda Lodge 706, Free and Accpted Masons; the Lima Chapter 49, Royal Arch Masons; Lima Council 20, Royal and Select Masons' and Shawnee Commandry 14, Knights Templar.
He was also a member of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Toledo;' Antioch Shrine, Dayton; Lima Shrine Club; El Karan Grotto 43, M.O.V.P.E.R.; Masters Hi-Twelve Club No. 590; Trinity Chapter 16, Order of Eastern Star; Lima Shrine 20, Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem; and St. Marys Court 50, Order of Amaranth.
He was an active driver for Shriner Hospita for Crippled Children.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Anita Herber of Mesa Ariz., and Mrs. William (Faye) Barga of Lima; a brother, Lester Mumaw Sr. of Lafayette; and five grandchildren.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at the West Wayne Street Chapel of Chiles and Sons-Laman Funeral Homes.
The Revs. Larry Kaser and David Thompson will officiate.
Entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, where a Masonic Lodge service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Children Hospital.
