Louis F. Mumaugh, 88, of Canal Fulton, formerly of Beardsley Street, Akron died Dec. 29.
Born in Peru, Ind., he had lived in the Akron area most of his life. He retired from Firestone Tire & Rubber Co. in 1963 after 36 years service, and was a member of Mission Church of Christ. He is survived by daughters, Esther Bellman of Canal Fulton, Helen Dolly of Akron; eight grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Calling hours TONIGHT, 6 to 9, and one hour before services Wednesday, at 1 p.m., at Schermesser Funeral Home, 1446 S. Main St., Rev. William Dieringer officiating. Interment Rose Hill Burial Park. Memorials may be made to Mission Church of Christ, 522 Swartz Rd., Akron.

Mrs. Amanda C. Mumaugh, 76, of 910 San Carlos st., a resident of Akron for 20 years, died Tuesday at her home.
He (sic) was a member of the South Akron Church of Christ.
She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Sylvia Baugher of Akron and Mrs. Clara Woods of Muncie, Ind.; three sons, Joseph A., of Muncie, Harry C., of Portland, Ind., and Louis F. of Akron; nine grandchidlren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services have not been arranged at the Materna funeral home.
Tuesday would have been the 27th of August.
Portland Indiana is in Jay County.

Sergt. William L. age 28 years, of 627 Wyandotte st., passed away April 15 on Luzon, Philippine Islands. Survived by wife, Charlotte; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis F. Mumaugh, 1166 Beardsley st.; sisters, Mrs. Curtis Bellman, all of Akron; Mrs. Hoyt King of Barberton, and Mrs. Ralph Hersman of Buchanan, WVa. Memorial services Sunday May 20 at 4 p.m. at the South Akron Church of Christ. Rev. W. P. Neal and Rev. Donald T. R. McClean officiating. Deceased Name: Esther Delores Bellman
Esther Delores Bellman (nee Mumaugh), 83, of Franklin Twp., formerly of Akron and Canal Fulton, went home to be with the Lord on Aug. 21, 2002.
Esther was born in Muncie, Ind. on Feb. 10, 1919. She was employed by Children's Services and was a member of the Manchester Church of Christ, past member of the Democratic party, Precinct Judge in Ward #5 and was an active PTA member.
Preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Crystal; husband, Curtis; son, Daniel; brother, William; sister, Frances King; and granddaughter, Carmen Page; she is survived by her daughters, Marjorie A. (Glenn) Hoppe of Clinton and Nancy S. Murray of Akron; sister, Helen J. Dolly of Walters, Okla.; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Howard and Leona Mattie and Howard and Lois Bellman; sisters-in-law, Renee and Stacy Bellman; grandchildren, Curtis and Crystal Bellman, Glenn and Randy Hoppe, Dr. Shelley Schliesser, Daniel, William and Matthew Weaver; 16 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Monday, Aug. 26, 2002 at the Schermesser, City of Green Chapel, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd. (Rte. 619) with Pastor Rick Clark officiating.
