Lorraine Marie Mumma (Lori) passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2018. She was born in Muskegon, Michigan on January 17, 1945, to Louise (Gauthier) and Theodore (Ted) Christensen. The family was relocated to California in 1963. That same year she graduated from Santa Ana High School. Lori and Olen Donald Mumma (Don) were married on November 30, 1968, forty-nine and half years ago. Her self-confidence and adventurous spirit helped in her many career paths as a dental assistant, real estate agent, owner of San Diego Air Sports Center, greyhound racing and as an employee of Farm Bureau Insurance Co. Sadly, she suffered a stroke and dementia set in. Lori loved the outdoors and the desert.
She was preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her mother, Louise Christensen, her husband, Olen Donald Mumma (Don) and four children, Steven Mumma, Mary Collins, Jerry Mumma and James Mumma. She also left behind her sister, Kathy Worthing, and brother, Ted Christensen (Cathy), many grandchildren, one great-grandchild and so many nieces, nephews and cousins. Family, friends and others who were touched by Lori?s life are invited to celebrate her life at Desert Valley Mortuary, 138 N. Avenue B, Somerton, Arizona on July 12, 2018, from 1 ? 3 pm.
