Apparently Parke and Beatrice divorced soon after the 1940 census. The city directories then list Beatrice as living in Lancaster City.

Parke L. and Elizabeth Z. Mummaw,
86 and 79, formerly of Mountville
A former Lancaster County couple recently died 10 days apart in Florida.
Elizabeth Z. Mumma, 79, of South Land Suites, Ormond Beach, Fla. died of natural causes May 4, 2004 at home. Her husband, Parke L.Mummaw, 86, died May 14 at home, also of natural causes.
The Mummaws moved to Florida in 1962 from Mountville, where they lived on Horizon Drive. They were married 56 years. Mummaw retired after 48 years as owner of Ormound Machine & Tool Inc., which he founded. A U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, he also served in the Merchant Marines.
He was a 32nd - degree Mason and a member of Masonic Lodge 326, Ormond Beach, and Scottush Rite.
Born in Paradise, he was the son of the late Lester and Anna Sprecher Mummaw.
Mrs. Mummaw retired in 1983 from Ormond Memorial Hospital, where she was a licensed practical nurse. Born in Clarence, she was the daughter of the late Emil R. and Louella Meek Krone.
The Mummaws were members of Ormond Beach Union Church, where Mrs. Mumma earlier served as a Sunday School Teacher, President of the Women's Christian Fellowship and chair of the board of deacons.
They are survived by three sons, Richard A., married to Judy Mummaw of Jacksonville, Fla., Timothy P. of Fort Washington and Macah G. of Ormond Beach and three grandchildren.
Mrs. Mummaw is survived by a brother, William J. Krone of McKinleysville, Calif.

ORMOND BEACH -- Parke L. Mummaw, 86, of Wilmette Avenue, founder and retired owner of Ormond Machine and Tool, died Friday at South Land Suites.
Mr. Mummaw, a Navy veteran of World War II, who also was a former merchant mariner, was born in Paradise, Pa. He moved to this area in 1962 from Melbourne. He was a member the Ormond Beach Union Church, F&AM Lodge, Ormond Beach, and the Scottish Rite, Daytona Beach.
Survivors include three sons, Micah, Ormond Beach, Richard, Jacksonville, and Timothy, Fort Washington, Pa.; and three grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to Florida Hospital Memorial HospiceCare, c/o Stewart Meyer Hospice House, 770 W. Granada Blvd., Ormond Beach, FL 32174. Ormond Funeral Home is in charge.
