Last Will and Testament of Ezekiel B. Hobbs

I, Ezekiel B. Hobbs of the town of Eagleville in the county of Harrison and the state of Missouri being of sound mind do make and publish this, my last will and testament.
I direct my executor to adjust all claims against my estate according to law, including Funeral expenses and expense incurred by my wife in purchase & erection of a suitable monument at my grave.
I give and bequeath to my wife BUNAVISTA HOBBS, the sum of six hundred dollars, one cow and all the household goods and furniture (except 1 bedstead, feather bed and proper covers with pair of pillows). This in lieu of any Dower in my estate.
For the purpose of making an equal division among my children, I give and bequeath to each of my daughters: viz--MARTHA J. MUMMA; LYDDIA A. GILPATRICK and ROZELLA CHAPMAN, the sum of two hundred dollars and to my son, ELKANA B. HOBBS, the sum of six hundred dollars, one horse worth at least fifty dollars and the sett of wagon harness of mine, now in use by my son HARVEY, also the 1 bedstead, feather bed and proper covers with pair of pillows as excipted in PII.
I give and bequeath to the heirs of my deceased daughter, ELIZABETH S. MATHES, each the sum of five dollars.
I direct that the payment of the legacies to Martha J. Mamma, Lyddia A. Gilpatrick and Rozella Chapman shall be paid before my other bequeaths except the bequeath to my wife as (unreadable)---------paragraph II.
